I was browsing t'internet a little while earlier when my screen suddenly went black. I restarted my PC but I can't even see the boot screen now, its just black.

I have tried 3 other monitors that I know work with both HDMI and DisplayPort cables but I still get a black screen at boot.

My PC is approx 5 months old and was built by Overclockers so I've put a ticket in, but is there anything else I can try in the meantime? I have a Ryzen 7800X3D and an MSI Suprim X 4090. The RGB inside the computer lights up as normal, including the graphics card.

I have taken the graphics card out and plugged the HDMI cable into the motherboard, still no signal.

I am not very technical, so I assume I've done it correctly. I literally just took the 4090 out of the machine and plugged the HDMI cable into the top left port on the motherboard at the back of my PC (Strix B650-a). I assume it auto detects its connected to that port and I don't have to do anything else.

UPDATE: I noticed that there is a red light on the motherboard in the top right corner, I think it says CPU DRAM above it, its a tiny font! It starts off orange when I turn the PC on, then turns red after a short while. I did some googling and took out both sticks of RAM then put 1 stick back in the Number 2 slot and turned the PC back on. The light is still red. I've now put both back in as thats how it was to begin with.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I have just reset the CMOS and got the PC to boot, but it is telling me there is a CPU Fan speed detection error. I have a NZXT Kraken Z73, the 3 fans are working. I now can't get past the boot screen due to the error message.

Okay, set it to Ignore and my PC works again!

I have the NZXT Cam app already installed so that will keep track of temps, but I'm wondering why after 5 months of use it suddenly happened. My PC was on for maybe 5 hrs this morning, I did nothing on it other than internet browsing and discord chatting. I haven't updated the BIOS recently and my last windows update was maybe a week or so ago.
