Pictures are much better. 
Pictures are better but you need to pay more attention to the surroundings when you're taking photos to be showpieces on your website - having a random disassembled table, some wicker baskets and a pile of boxes under a plastic sheet in the background just looks a bit untidy.
If the environment looks as clean and tidy as the car does, it will make a huge difference. Take a look at some of the big names, you can be sure the garages in their portfolio pictures will be immaculate as well as the cars.
