Black Wavemaster blue tinted windowed panel

Sandmaster500, Right, I recieved my ninja and it doesnt fit. Well it does fit and there's only like 1-2mm gap between the panel and the top of the heatsink  but when the fan is installed, No chance the panel can fit on because the fan sits 1.5cm higher than the heatsink.

Well, it's such an awesome heatsink but doesnt fit :( . Thermaltake typhoon for me now:)

The zalman looks rather risky if you ask me, due to the extended panel.

I personally have an Aerogate II and it looks pretty darn good.

Hmmm, i'll try and research it a bit and try and find out the height of the knobs (anyone have one?).
Other option would be the lian li TR-3B Or Silverstone SST-FP52. Which if these two or similar are best?

Awwww, thats well annoying. Could you bodge the fan on with cable ties or something so its mounted lower?

Thanks guys

Nope, I've tried everything and it wont work because the fan sits on top of the clips that secure the heatsink to the mobo:(

hmmmmm, Could always use a 92mm fan?
Or have the fan blowing upwards (into PSU if have a PSU with fan on bottom) whoch wouldn't be as good but better than nothing.

What would be the best cooler (quiet) that will fit in? What are "the" best 80mm fans?

Nope, tried all. Blowing up into the psu, it can work but the fan will be starved for air cause there's like 5-8mm difference between fan and gfx card.

Best heatsink that may does fit would be thermaltake typhoon:)

Thats annoying. Heard a lot of good reports about the BT but it's a bit too expensive for me as i already have the scythe. Will probably just go for the Freezer 64 for best value. Are these still good atm?

Only other thing is might get a different PSU. Whats a good, very quiet one? Needs to be pretty cheap and only 400-500W.

thanks

Have an Akasa Evo 33 (That needs AS5 re-applying), 4 Akasa Ambers (80mm), Galaxy Glacier 6800GT (Pre-fitted with artic rev), Enermax PSU.

All fans are on the lowest rpm!

I just ran OCCT Torture test for you, this test stresses the CPU at 100% max. The highest temp im getting is 40 degrees , still bearing in mind AS5 needs re-applying and whilst the fans are at lowest RPM.

Pretty darn good if you ask me :)
:O THERE WAY BETTER TEMPS THAN MINE!
I have original fans a arctic cooler on my ati and a akasa ak-859 and my temps are 44-48c IDLE on a amd 4000+ and my ambient temp is 43oc. DiD changing the fans make a difference

It is old ATCs time on OcUK now.

Yet another item that was suggested when Spie posted asking.

Great they are listening to the forum members!

OMG i actually love OcUK, a couple of requests for some case mods, and side panels etc. And what do we get :D

Im so happy, i couldnt find this anywere, shame its not stocked in clear though.

Probably because there are none left in clear!

The coloured panels are nicer than the clear ones anyway in my opinion, especially the light green one.

Yeah i do like the tinted green one, it makes it look a lot like glass which i think is pretty cool.
I also like the blue one but by the looks of the pics ive seen of it, it looks like it is not that see through. Ill just have to wait and se i suppose :)
