Basically, is this phone decent?

I'm looking at the blackberry 9000 aswell, but maybe for a profit margin i'm better off getting the 8520 (selling my current phone) ...

Decent entry spec BB...just dont expect it to be blazing fast or anything plus its pretty bulky but is a nice entry level BB device.

Yes it is decent, i have the 8900 and my god its epic, if your willing to spend that bit more then go for the 8900 its so much nicer in design and has a better camera but the 8520 is still a damn good phone

Excellent choice! 9000 has 3G which is great. I will eventually replace it with the 9700 though
