Blackberry 9900/9930

I bought the official Blackberry soft case and it is really good.
The case does not add too much bulk and you have access to all the buttons / connection.

The back of the case has matt effect and you get better grip of the phone and the best thing about this case is that you get the blackberry logo at the back.

The only downside (probably with all cases) is that you can't charge the phone using the official dock with the case on.

Here is the case and official charging dock.

I got that charging dock for free!

I'm thinking of getting a BB in a few months. How is the 9360 going to compare to the 9900? Does anyone know?

Lol wont even come close and thats just hardware specs...9900 runs a 1.2ghz cpu and the 9360 runs on a 800mhz cpu...big difference there for a start then theres the keyboard, nothing comes close to the 9900s keyboard tbh. The 9360 is a good decent device but nothing compared to the 9900.

Just got this phone from Vodafone :D

£36/month on a 12 month contract. £130 upfront for the phone, 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.

I'm happy :D

Not bad...all in it will cost you £562 over your contract which includes your upfront cost...not that much more expensive than buying it sim free i guess.

Enjoy the phone, its simply awesome.

Exactly! The guy got his calculator out in the shop and worked it all out for me, and it seems like a great deal! Also, he gave me one of their hard cases for free, that usually sell for £15... Sweeeet :D

Any insider info on an Orange release yet anyone...? (looks at Myshra...;))

EDIT - oops just read previous post, 25th it is (until that gets delayed...:p)

How the hell does it charge if the charging bits on the side?

There's two metal contacts on the bottom of the phone :)

Had my 9900 for a couple of weeks now without an issue, no battery issues here, been on for almost 2 days now with 30% left, fairly heavy use :)

might go for the 9900

Here's some visual persuasion :p
