Will my lil brother wants a new phone, and he is on this BB hype so I'm looking to get him a new blackberry, he has one of the older ones with just gprs and really complains about it being so slow so looking for something that will be faster.

Needs to be around £15-20 a month and hopefully free phone, doesn't matter if its 24 months as he wont really need anything new.

Thanks in advance for any help not really good with blackberry phones/

Avoid curves. These seem to be the ones that get the most problems on them.

I have a Bold 9700 and had no problems so far (touch wood). The battery life is pretty poor and has to be charged every night but when ever mine goes slow, just take the battery out and reboot it.

With a blackberry your going to be looking at the £25 mark roughly unless you take a huge hit on mins etc. I pay £25 a month for mine, 24 month contract, 500 mins, unlimited internet and texts on 02. If you can access wifi most times then internet isnt really that big as the wifi is good on the bold.

Bolds not too big or too small, has the qwerty keyboard along with all the others. Can access 3G and wifi.

Theres also this new app on Blackberrys where when you get your BB account you can download the app and then if you ever lose your phone you can find it on the internet on the map providing it has signal/switched on. If not then you can also send a message for when it is able to receive it and if that doesnt work you are able to wipe all data from the phone so nothing personal can be stolen.

Hope some of this information helped you out. Im sure there is a newer model of the bold out/due out so may be worth trying for one of those, unless someone else can recommend the touch. Friend has one but ive never had a play around with it so dont know what it is like.

Thanks a lot for the advice guys, ill show my little bro in the morning and see what he can work out with my Mom (who will buy getting him the contract).
