Blackberry Help re:backup / restore

Hi. Have a BB 9900 on Orange

I do a back up every 3-4 weeks. OntoLaptop with BB desktop Manager

Had phone 12 months.

Orange sent a replacement 9900 other day. I did a back up with old 9900

Then did a Restore with new 9900

Only problem I seem to have is emails now ONLY go back to August 2012 Not March time 2011

Any ideas how I can sort this problem out.

Sounds like the period to sync is set to 60 days. Can you increase it in settings?

Exactly what i'd suggest too, your sync is set to 60 days so you'd never get any more.

Well where do I find this setting to change then that you mention 60 days ?

Not sure I'm not a blackberry user. Have a look in e-mail settings.

It's per service so in calendar it's under general options iirc.

How are you finding the 9900?
I have an iphone 4 and thinking of switching as I quite like the way they work after playing around with some.

You say you got a replacement - Are they not very reliable?

Handset is ~15 months old, if you really want a BB hold out for BB10. Don't get one now unless it's a magical, super amazing bargin. Please.
