Possibly a silly question.
I have a few Blackberry phones ( dont ask, Im a pleb )

Now, on one of them, I have wiped it and I am trying to get it setup, but its hit a silly issue.
Its a Blackberry LEAP

It needs a network to continue.
I have it connected to my WIFI, and I have also plopped a fully working SIM from another Blackberry ( another LEAP actually ) but even though its connecting to the WIFI, it still telling me there is no network?

So, does this mean that the phone is broken?

Obviously, as its a Blackberry, its worthless now, but can it be sorted or shall I just chuck it?

Yeah they did.
Or rather the phones work just the same as they always did, but I just dont get any services that frankly, I never needed anyway!

However, most people dont seem to understand that they are incredibly compatible with Android software, and for many things, the Blackberry is fine to run them.
So, its only really Blackberry services that they stopped supporting.

BB Messenger and Maps dont work ( Never used the Messenger anyway ) and I have installed GoogleMaps and so that works great.
I only use these for a Music player and SatNav on my bikes or trike and for that, they are flawless, plus I dont really give a monkeys if they get broken, lost or stolen.
