I love this phone!!

I picked up my first BlackBerry last week and it's a cracking phone.

I was a little cautious about SureType but it's easy to use after a few tries.

The Pearl (glowing trackball) is fantastic to use and a great way to navigate the menus.

lemmie know how you find it, been thinking of getting a blackberry but not one of the wide ones!

It's great!

Lightweight, small, compact, easy to through into a pocket etc.

The screen is crystal clear and the web browser is very easy to use/navigate with the trackball idea.

The only downside I can see... a 1.3Mpixel camera... but then tbh if I wanna take photo's I take my camera! I've never actually used a phone cam in that many situations etc.

currently on W500i SE, and that was from a V3, so im used to VGA camera, might have to pop in a shop to look at this, seems a nice phone

Whats it like for text and emailing ?

SureType is fantastic, very easy to use and quite intuitive.

The emails/sms are easy to read as well, you have choice over the font style and size etc.
