Right.........

Here goes got a Blackberry for cheap, thought nice I'll start using that, take my sim card out of my old Nokia and pop it into the BB, fine and dandy, "do you want to copy over all of your contacts from the sim card" mmmm yes please

Got narked off with the BB and thought right going back to the Nokia, pop my sim back in and voila no contacts, mmmm me thinks thats ok I'll just copy them over from the BB back onto the sim card.

So how do you go about that then? from the looks of it you have to do it one by one, this is not an option

May be one for Spawn

Help meh

Yep, one by one- or you can use the blackberry software and export them to outlook.... then install the nokia suite and hope it'll sync them back.

FFS that sounds utter ****, why won't they just stay on the sim card like every other ****ing phone

Surely theres a way to copy them back to the sim card all in one go?

It is, if there is- let me know... but from when I was trying to do this that was the easiest way :)

Maybe I just missed a setting, the gui on most blackberrys is awful.

That's turd !

Every other god damn phone you can copy all the contacts, these all singing all dancing BB's you can't !!

I've already got the nokia software on this comp, how do I go about sending them all to Outlook then?

BB software installed as well

I can't remember the specifics, but it's generally:

1) Plug blackberry into pc
2) Load blackberry software and choose to export contacts to outlook
3) Plug nokia into pc
4) Load Nokia suite
5) Export contacts to nokia

yeah u cant send contacts from bb to sim, its SHOCKING and cant save contacts to sim when added on a bb too, why do they do this? terrible!

yeah the BB was the best thing sliced bread to the boss for about a week, then when he realised he had to pay another £25 a month to get his outlook calendar synced up it soon went back...

The reason you can't copy contacts to the sim is because there are too many fields in the contacts list for the sim to hold. Sims have a finite space to hold the information and there's not enough space on any sim.
Contacts therefore can only be stored on the phone to allow full full functionality.
