Blackberry users can receive but not send after exchange rebuild

guys any ideas

exchange crash so had to build a new server and recover , sames OS the lot

on bes server 5.0.x edited the mapi to point to the new server and low and behold quick reboot mails started to be received, only thing that changed was server name.

any ideas why cannot send , getting red x,

is it simple something i have missed, been a long few days with 4 hours sleep in the last 36 hours but anybody have an pointers

AD hasnt changed , all this stuff on diff servers , none of the service accounts have changed

all mailboxes created from scratch , still working on DR to recover and merge contents

Have you double-checked the besadmin permissions?

Yup, the account needs the right permissions to be able to access people's mailboxes and send messages.

Guaranteed to be this. Give your bes admin account permissions on the new exchange box and it'll be fine.
