Blackberry wireless to sky router?

Hi all
My step-daughter wants me to connect her blackberry mobile to the internet through my sky router but i have no idea how as i have only ever used cables to connect pc`s to the net.

Can anyone help?

Turn the Blackberry's wifi on and connect it to your Sky routers SSID, you'll probably have to enter a password which you should know. If not it may be on the Sky router itself.

got that far but phone then comes back with unable to authenticate.
