We got 3 BB's from T-Mobile a couple of weeks ago. I thought (foolishly) it would straightforward to set them up and use them for our mail. It doesn't appear to be simple or straightforward.
We have a SBS 2003 Server and I've followed the BB user guides and installed BB Enterprise Server Express. Reading through the next guide it said I had to check that the wireless provider supported the service. I called T-Mobile and the Customer Support guy said our handsets weren't licensed yet but could be for £10 each, per month, and they were "just shells for making calls and receiving text messages" without the license. The original Sales guy never mentioned anything about this.
So, have I bought a load of duffers? All I want is the handsets to receive mail for each user, in addition to making and receiving calls and text messages.
Any experienced users here that can offer some advice?
Thanks.
