Hi chaps,

Has anyone heard anything about the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera? I've just watched a tech program on YouTube that says it is a revolutionary bit of kit. It's a super high end video camera in a compact size and the quality of the video is meant to be astounding.

Looks like something to research a bit deeper methinks. It would be an amazing video camera for budding cinematographers and at £665 it not out the reach for some who would like superb video quality at a reasonable cost too.

Have you guys heard about it, what do you think?

Looks Great Might Consider Ordering one if the Wallet will let me it appears locked shut by some magnetic force and i cant open it ?

This is definitely going to be on my to watch list: I want something that shoots nice video that can use all of my lenses, I was considering a GH2 but the codec on this might just swing it.

Just read about it, seems like a good idea for the casual film maker with a limited budget.

For people who are going to spends thousands on steadicams, tripods, cine lenses etc. I don't see the point.
