Hi all, i currently have 4 NF12 industrial fans as case fans in my Defince C. 3 intake, 1 exhaust. I wondered if replacing them with 2 140 NB-eloop intake fans and a 120 exhaust would improve sound and perhaps airflow. Has anyone had any experiance with these fans?

Years ago when still active SilentPCreview wasn't impressed by noise profile of PWM eLoops.
And performance certainly isn't impressive especially for high price in this 140mm fan test.

Arctic P12/P14 are certain to improve noise profile from Noctua's marketing BS design.

Interesting, Arri though had a different opinion, and rates them highly in a recent video, so i'm finding it confusing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUdsTiRmuuU&t=507s

I went out all Noctua on my first build, I think their build quality and mounting for the cooler are excellent, but performance wise there's a lot of marketing, and they've delayed the fans i was interested in again, now due in 2021.

I have eloops
Quite happy with them
Though I only do 700~1000rpm normally
As I like silence
Over about 1200rpm they get audible to me
As mentioned the artic fans are well liked by a lot of people in here
Price wise they are hard to beat yet they are still decent fans and believe you can
Daisy chain them which is a + in my
Opinion as less cabling the better
