Blackops memory question

Hi, just got the foxconn blackops delivered today along with some ddr3 memory.

the motherboard says it supports 1600mhz memory which i got, but the box on the motherboard only says 1333mhz. does this mean it will overclock to 1600mhz or max only 1333mhz and will this ram work with this board?

Looking at the website it should take 1600mhz without oc only the 2000mhz needs oc.

thats for the FSB.

it supports 1600mhz ddr3, i checked the manual, just odd it would only say 1333mhz on the box.

hi I had the same board and memory. M/board would not post phond OC.UK
support they sead that the memory was not compatabile with blackops.
they saed that patriot viper 1600mhz would work so I ordered them.
same thing as before board would not post.
board + memory are now on RMA for testing hope you have luck.

hopefully yours was just faulty and you get it sorted to eliminate the ram/board problem
