How's more hustle to buy something on a credit card that perhaps you already have? I have 0 interest on it, why would I buy anything with money down when I can spread the cost over multiple pays and actually get a "discount" due to inflation plus a nice credit score? In my country we had in 2022 a 13.8% inflation and in 2023 a 10.4% - the official one at least. If I've got something on a 2 years payment plan, right there is a hefty discount!

Just because its 0% interest doesn't mean there isn't a cost. Plenty won't pay with a credit card (debit card charges are much, much lower), so say it costs the retailer 3% for those that use a credit card and typically 1/3rd of customers use one then they would probably add 1.5% to the cost of everything (need to have a bit of leeway in case credit card usage goes up a bit).

That potential cost is already in the price, doesn't matter if you pay cash, debit or credit card.

On that basis even those not using a 0% CC will pay the extra so you may as well ;) Besides everyone seems to gouge these days so 1.5% is neither here nor there.

Blackwell will be first gaming GPUs to use 32 Gbps GDDR7 memory. RTX 5080 will feature 16GB 32 Gbps GDDR7 memory provide 1024GB/s bandwidth, slight faster than RTX 4090's 1008GB/s bandwidth. RTX 5090 will feature 32GB 32 Gbps GDDR7 Memory provide 2048GB/s bandwidth.
Oof, better start selling kidneys for that 5090 folks!!! Nvidia pushing those speeds, nice

Going off the leaked specs it looks like the 4080 12gb is being reincarnated as the 5080.

What would you class as a bargain for a 4090?
Hard to tell without seeing 5090/5080 prices.

The 3090 dropped from £1400 quickly to about £600/700 but it was too close in performance to the 3080 right from the start.

I expect the 4090 might fair a little better especially if the 5090 is 2k+.
