Can anyone shed any light on this one? Switch is a G8124, any old DAC cables work, but I want to connect to a 10/100/1000 switch so have been trying various SFP adapters. Blade ones are hard to come by so someone programmed one to pretend to be a Blade one - doesn't work. Fair enough. But the Finisar one shows as approved, but has a "power error". What the heck does that mean?!
Any ideas? I have a genuine Blade adapter coming from the US, but that cost more than the switch did!
