Bladeless Fan!?!

1) You are most definitely 2 years late on this
2) It's not bladeless, just because you can't see the blades doesn't mean it has none (they are in the cylinder at the base, attached to the "brushless motor"
3) The airflow is crap.
 
I was playing with a form of these 10 years ago at work. The original is called an air amplifier and is run by compressed air. You can see them on T.V. when the fomula1 is on, they are held pointing into the cockpit to cool the driver.

The dyson one works by having a small compressor in the stand.
