Blake's 7 poised for comeback

A new remake of sci-fi series Blake's 7 could soon return to television screens, Sky One has revealed.

The satellite channel has given the green light for the development of two 60-minute scripts for a "potential event series".

What can you say apart from about time, hope they redo space 1999 as well

If they ever do remake Space 1999 no matter how good it is, they'll never replace Catherine Schell (Maya) from my childhood fantasies.

Yeah it's Sky 1 - nothing good will come of it. Like Eve said - died at the right time.

B7 was wicked, used to love it as a kid, but just cant see it working now - to do it properly would cost too much..

But I know Avon is out there somewhere..

As a kid I hated Avon, but when I watch it recently he was by far the coolest character. It goes to show how your perceptions change!

Avon looked cooler as Blake became weirder. If Blake hadn't gone all weird, Avon would not be so likeable.

He was a fantastic villain, though. My mum always reckoned he was dead sexy. :cool:
