I've just built a new system with a Gainward GeForce GTX 460 GS 1024MB graphics card and Coolermaster Silent Pro Modular 700W PSU. Whenever it's under high graphical load (only occurs when gaming at 1920x1080 - but not when playing on a smaller monitor), the screen goes blank (monitor goes on no signal standby) and the graphics card fan goes to full speed. A reset makes the motherboard sound the "no VGA" beeps. This is running on an Asus P8P67.
So I'm guessing the issue is either related to the card or the power supply. With this being an intermittent issue, I'm having visions of RMAing it being a complete nightmare.
The PSU was substituted in for an out-of-stock item, with the replacement suggested by OcUK. It should surely be capable of powering that card.
I've checked connections and the temperature appears to be fine. This is with the latest drivers.
