Blank screen!

Fan on my x1900xtx card was dying... so I bought a new fan... installed ok.

Thing is I now get a blank screen when rebooting! Fan spins.. no beeps no nothing...

I thought Oh crap I've broken the card...

so I go and buy a 3870 x2 (was on the cards!). The problem is I get a blank screen with this too!!

Installed old X800XL and this works fine...arg!

So have I

1. fried the motherboard (new bios on Asus P5B Deluxe)

2. fried the 6pin lanes on my Antec 650 truepower

3. something else I can't get my head around?

no boot up no nothing...

Have a horrible feeling I have done something really stoopid...will get back when I try something.

OK so I am stoopid...

Didnt connect the 2nd 6 pin into the 8 pin... oops

Which means my X1900XTX is indead toast

Arg! Stoopid crappy manual...
