Blank Screen...

Hey.

Just done my build, put it all together, yet I have the "blank screen" problem.

AMD Phenom II X2 550 3.10Ghz
Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
Kingston HyperX 4GB
Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Pioneer optical drive
Antec 300 case
Creative Xtreme Gamer

Now, searching around I found a guy with the EXACT same problem, running similar procesor with the same mobo and ram.

Is it the mobo that's the problem? It seems a bit dodgey..

I really need help. I've reset the CMOS, taken the power cable out and held down the on switch, tried just one stick of RAM, everything.

Any help guys?

I know you said you have tried one stick of ram of tried them in different slots?

double check all the silly things like is the monitor turned on etc. is the mobo bleeping at all? if not i would unplug everything from the mobo then plug everything back in to make sure you dont have any bad connections. silly things like power cables to the mobo is what i often forget.

Still no luck.

About the power to Mobo, I'm using a 20 pin in the 24 pin connector (Which in the manual sais it's ok to do) but do I need to pluf the 4 pin in too? Would I do this into the spare 4 pin socket or the special one (Which is backwards, as in the square and rounder pins)
