Blast From The Past

Brilliant!

Guaranteeing overclocked CPU's even back then, price's are better I remember high end upgrades costing £200 quid max. I still have a dual P3 450 setup with an AWE 64 gold which cost me 180 quid still works a treat the PC is of course mighty slooooow.

Good times

They couldn't use apostrophes back then either.

"CPU's" then and "TV's" now.

:(

Both of those examples are initialisms and the rules on whether you can use an apostrophe to signal a plural are debatable at best, some style guides recommend you use them and some don't but I don't think there is a definitive right or wrong.

I tend to not use one but the problem comes when you are writing in one case. If you are restricted to using uppercase for example then you kind of have to use and apostrophe to show the trailing 'S' isn't part of the initialism/acronym.

LOL @ the HD sizes, 20gb to 28gb and look how much they were. Whoever would have thought that in 12 years time you could have a 2tb drive....and prolly costs the same money.

Ahhh the discussions of yestur-year.
