Just started playing this online.. What I hate is that its not fair!! Am new so all the decent guns are locked! and it seems impossible to enjoy it as I keep dieing every second!!

Any tips on how to get better guns etc! Is it a case of just builing up points playing against players who have a clear advantage! ?... Am guessing I must be visable on there radar as well?

Please help!

I assume you don't want the obvious answer, which is that almost everyone playing BLOPS1 online will have had it for months at the very least, so you'll struggle to find newbies?

Same, its a case of practise, practise, practise. Unlocking guns will only come with leveling up.

Use the training section in Blackops so you play against bots that way you can get some practice in without making a fool of yourself with other players...

Actually Black Ops 2 would have been the better choice for you as you can play league play where everyone has access to the same weapons, it also buts you in games with people od similar ability.. you loose the fun of lvling up but it is as you would consider fair.

You'll level up pretty quick. Use the standard classes at first as they're more powerful than the classes you'll be able to make at first.

I'm amazed Black Ops can be spelt so incorrectly, and that was worthy of this comment.
