The new fighter from Guilty Gear creators Arc System Works.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (ブレイブルー カラミティ トリガー ,Bureiburū Karamiti Torigā?) is a two-dimensional fighting arcade game by Arc System Works, the staff behind the Guilty Gear series. It was released on November 19, 2008 in Japan and November 20, 2008 in the United States.[3] It will later be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the summer of 2009. It is a spiritual successor to Guilty Gear. A playable demo was presented at AOU 2008. The game is currently released for the Taito Type X2 arcade system board, with a 16:9 ratio and 768p resolution.

I'm kinda late to the scene with this game but I finally got my hands on it!

I played it at the MCM Expo in London and fell in love with it so I ordered it when I got home with the arcade stick.

(I'm at Uni at the moment with only my phone camera :p)

The stick is a rebranded HRAP3, so it's pretty good. The styling of the game is really slick, I'm enjoying it.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will be out by the time Calamity Trigger comes out over here, no amount of extras are worth it. And they have confirmed it is the first one we're getting.

Also it just seems to be called "BlazBlue" for the EU release, with Calamity Trigger cut out. I don't really know what they're doing, it seems to be more of a publisher issue than any deliberate reason for not bringing it out here.

My Calamity Trigger one cost nearly 150 in the end after all the fees :S

I did specifically want it from a collectors point of view though, but it was still expensive.

I'm not a huge Street Fighter fan which kinda ruled out the TE because of the art, which is a shame because its one of the best stock sticks and fairly priced :p

The EX-SE looks okay to me :p
