Blaze M1178 Tomahawk Mouse Problem

I'm having a few problems with this mouse, it only arrived yesterday. While it is working somewhat, the config software keeps saying 'No mouse detected' and when when I plug in the charging cable I get 'USB device not recognised'. Been looking all over for help but the few scraps I've found haven't been any help at all. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure that it is the mouse itself that's faulty. The mouse light in the centre doesn't come on.

What I need to ad is that when I took the nano receiver out, it left the metal part in the USB socket.

Sounds like you received a faulty mouse tbh... I have no experience with that mouse, but that's not right. Possibly ring OCuk and see what they say?

It does sound like a faulty mouse. Contact OcUK, probably a return job.

I've been looking at those ones myself. I know it's a little off topic but does it have a thumb button on the side? Nowhere I've looked says how many buttons it has and where...

Nope, I feel your pain too. I've had the same mouse for 2 months and I get the same problem. I bought it because of the price and the 'programmable' buttons. They don't work and the place I bought it from will not take it back. Not to mention I had real difficulty even finding drivers for it, which don't even work.
