Bleed - ASUS TUF Gaming VG35VQ 35"

Purchased the above on 31/07/2020 elsewhere and I've only tonight actually watched a film on it. Little bit disheartening to see the amount of bleed.

Would you send this back?

Doesn't look to bad. Do you notice it whilst gaming/using the monitor?

Top and bottom looks worse but the camera will make it more so.

No. Only spotted it while watching a film this evening,on the credit screen of all places lol.

Hmm well if i bought a non OLED you expect this it has been going on for years and if you do keep it then you know why it keeps happening. My last two are perfect the FG2421 had OLED blacks and a glossy screen and the VG259QM has no bleed i can see i guess it is the panel size.

Would a TV be the same? Its also £400 tbh i am not sure what to say as to me it looks really bad but monitors are over priced and got poor quality control but what else would you buy? See this is the problem you gotta pay return postage and play the panel lotto? This is what i think Asus (spit spit) rely on.

Does it bother you?

If not, looks pretty good compared to a lot of IPS screens so I'd say it's a keeper.

It's a VA but no, doesn't bother me.

Ah, VA, still doesn't look bad. As long as it doesn't bother you, that's the main thing.
