you've only convinced me to go and get a new 360 :)

after listening to everyone going on about how great gta4 is and still wanting to see what all the fuss is about with forza 2 i went shopping.


ended up getting

Xbox 360 elite
forza 2
gta4
pes 6
MS vga cable

cant grumble for 350 all in :) :)

anyone suggest me some games worth getting hold of?

R6 Vegas 1/2
GRAW 1/2
Crackdown

All very good games if you have never played them before, and all can be had pretty cheaply.

Edit - actually is that deal that good? Just went to the first site I thought of and they have "Xbox 360 Elite with GTA IV, PGR 4 and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2" for £329.99. VGA lead in addition would take it to £344.98, so slightly cheaper and you are getting better games which are worth more.

Anyway, enjoy :)

You did well but you should have got Fifa08, Forza2 pawns all though.
 
If you like arcade racers then GRID is worth a look. Call of Duty 4 is essential for some shooter action and it's the best online shooter by far.

Avoid Rainbow Six Vegas 2, it's complete pap. The first one is much better *.






*This is my opinion and no amount of childish flaming from the kids that seem to inhabit this forum will alter what I think of R6V2!
 
definitely get the darkness for the price you can get it for, an inventive take on the FPS with a great story. Dead rising is worth getting although it is a bit like marmite in whether you will like it or not.

All great games
 
Oh, oh...Ace Combat 6 is good fun too and can be picked up cheaply. Ton's of downloadable content too, some of it free and some if (sadly) a rip off!
