I've got my Q6600 upto 3.2Ghz (9x356)
On load, the temps on all cores are 57oc each which isn't too bad.
I've ran CPC benchmarks, Futuremark and stress tested all four cores for 5 hours using Orthas Prime with the Gromac CPU test. No errors or failures.
Yet strangely, the Blend test fails immediately when testing all four cores at the same time. Running the test on single, dual or 3 cores in any combination is fine but it's always core#3 that fails when all run together.
I've played about 5 hours of GoW with the setting and everything seems stable.
The vcore is set to 1.4v and the NB has been increased from 1.25 to 1.4v
The RAM is set to 5-5-5-18 at 712MHz receiving 2.1v
Any ideas?
