guys I could really do with some help, I was putting another secondary hardrive into a friends computer (it's a gigabyte board with an intel chip). I put the drive in and went to the desktop and it wasn't showing so went into the bios to make sure that it showing there which it was, when I restarted I got a "blinitializelibrary failed 0xc0000001" error on the bios screen and no movement past that. The thing that's got me stumped is when I boot from a disk it takes me past the bios screen to the install windows and when it boots from his secondary hardrives it also takes me past the bios screen and tells me no OS found. So I naturally put it down to a borked boot sector, so I took his SSD home with me and pluged it into my computer and it has booted straight away to windows, so I now don't have a clue where to go from here. Does anyone have any ideas?
