Hey guys.
Installed a new Gigabyte GA-Z68X UD3H-B3 yesterday.
I have it updated to the latest BIOS and installed nearly every driver/utility/update for it.

Running it with a i5-2500k and 8GB Corsair XMS3.
My case is a Coolermaster HAF 912 Plus.

My 'problem', if you want to call it that, is that my power LED on the case is not staying solid red like it did on my old 775 motherboard or any other computer I have had.
It is blinking and disappearing most of the time. The computer is working perfectly otherwise. The HDD LED is working normal.

I have tried replugging my power LED + - connections into the PWR + and PWR - slots on the motherboard but this did not solve it.
I tried plugging the power LED + - into the respective Message/Power/Sleep LED slots on the motherboard but the result is the exact same.

The motherboard manual does say that using the Message/Power/Sleep LED slots will show blinking to indicate states like 'sleep' but this is happening while in windows and also when just using the normal PWR +- slots.

I am wondering if it is an indication of power saving occuring?
Is it actually a problem at all? I'm just used to having a solid red LED to indicate the computer being on! :p
I have tried a quick search on google but didn't find many similar or that have decent replies. Cheers!

Pretty sure I haven't, checked and rechecked a few times.
The HDD light is coming on when the HDD is active and off when it isn't active, as it normally should.
Each set of connectors is also labelled (HDD, PWR SW etc) and I have them matched to where the motherboard tells me to place them.

Just fixed it now.
I had installed 'Dynamic Enerygy Saver 2' a Gigabyte utility.
I had enabled it and tried it out but decided to uninstall it.
I didn't unenable it before uninstalling the utility so it continued to power save in stealth mode.
It seems the power LED was one of these power saving method.
I installed the program again and after unenabling it the power LED is back to normal!
