I have a problem that every game I get pretty bad blisters. I call them blisters, but it's where the skin gets sweaty and soft and turns over a bit when I push hard to stop. (to be clear it's happened before so it's not the boots)

I've tried to let them dry and callous over to toughen the skin but it doesn't work, just hurts more.

After this weekend I'm gona have to strap them up with bandages to make training.
Anyone got any magical solutions to solve this?

I can't be the only one.

Compeed

I use them in spots I know will rub, mainly in walking boots but don’t see why they wouldn’t work in football boots

I guess the reason I wouldn't use those, (I never have so may be wrong) is that the sticker bit would have to be pretty damn strong as I'm stopping and turning.

Are they better than something like a plaster?

What socks are you wearing?

Try trusox, they’ve shot up in price in recent times due to the high profile players all wearing them and I guess they’ve marketed it on social media.

I don't wear anything other than my football socks. I always assumed more socks = more sweat.
Have you ever been properly fitted for boots?
Never
Two pairs of socks? Padded running socks under normal football socks has worked for me.
So blister socks work. I'd tried to avoid more sock as I was always worried that I'd end up with even sweatier feet that couldn't breath. I didn't want less air getting to them.
