that is a good idea, and imo wasnt suprised it hasnt been introduced in earlier. although i can image there would be some amount of spam over microphones unless its just when you get into a group maybe. im all for it :)
 
I here other features that are often used via mods will also be implemented into the game. A threat meter of sorts has been rumoured, possibly confirmed.
 
depends on the quality of the audio, i'm used to a high quality vent channel but would still be usefull for pugs etc.
