Bloc Party - When are they coming back?

Does anybody have any news on them, We haven't heard anything new from them for ages, they're still touring about and there a few sketchy recordings of some new songs about on the internet but when are they going to be releasing a new ep?

Quite a few bands from that mainstream summer break a few years ago haven't really made much noise for a while.

apparently february 2007...that sucks, but i've got plenty to listen to until then...and Bloc Party's current album hasn't gotten boring yet

Listen to some of their older stuff if you're missing them!

Storm & Stress, Skeleton, Always New Depths, Little Thoughts, Tulips, The Answer. All really good songs that I consider to be as good as some on Silent Alarm! I saw them in the summer and they said they've finished recording the new album and I'm pretty sure it's set for release early 2007, and played a few new songs (which were awesome.) I also went to the fanclub tour a few months back where they played loads of new songs - there are loads of bootlegs if you search about! plenty to keep you going : ]

Yeah, but the quality of the mp3's I had where crap and did my head in so I gave up!! I've been mostly listening to Storm & Stress, The Answer, Skeleton and the remix album of late.

I know what you mean about the quality of the bootleg mp3s, the one I listen to most is 'It started in an afternoon', class song, can't wait to hear the album version. Roll on 2007!

Bloc Party release their second full-length album A Weekend In The City - 5th February 2007 through Wichita Recordings. Produced by Jacknife Lee and recorded at Grouse Lodge Studios in Ireland. EDIT: I read what you just posted after I posted, I think they've got a great attitude from what I've seen, but if you know the inside scoop then that is that!
I still maintain that as a band they seem cool enough : ). May I ask which one she (he ;o) dated? Pretty sure it isn't matt / gordy as they don't seem that type!
