I've got a Windows 2003 server here which is handing out IP address to all the PCs on the network. It sets the gateway as an IP cop box which lets them use the net however I have a temporary member of staff at the moment so what would be the best way to block their access?

I've thought about using a group policy but I use Firefox here and not IE, is there any way to control the gateway IP via a group policy or logon script?

There any way of changing the proxy address they use to something fake/not working?

This way then they wont be able to access anything?!

Not with Firefox, you can do it with IE under group policy.
How about using a Group policy of "dont run specified windows applications" and adding firefox.exe to the list.
Or is that to extreme?

That's an idea. Might try that one.
