Im trying to switch from Zen to o2 broadband courtesy of zombi3s discount (thanks) but it wont work as the people at o2 say that my bt line is incapable of having broadband due to there being some sort of block on the line and i should contact bt to get this removed.
Obviously this is a ludicrous lie as i have working broadband with zen.
This happened when i initially switched to zen from orange a year or so ago, i dont think anyone removed the block its just that zen carried on with the line migration regardless and it worked (surprise surprise).
This is at home so all under my mums name, she has BT line rental but gets her calls through talktalk as its cheaper.

Basically,
o2 person said get bt to remove the block
bt say nothign wrong with our line ring zen theyve put it on
zen say bt are retarded (i 100% agree) and that theyve done nothing its bt or talktalks fault
talktalk refuse to speak to you once you mention the letters bt, they instantly say its bts fault.

So anyone heard of anything like this and how in the hell are you meant to get through to someone who can fix it when everyone just blames other people and bt and talktalk have the worst customer service possible??

Any help appreciated as im currently wanting to get myself a posse, travel to india and kill every employee of bt.

Never heard of this. There are line conditions that would stop you having broadband (e.g DACS boxes) but this can't be the problem as you have working broadband at the moment.

Ring BT - threaten to cease the entire line with them and then see how quickly they sort it out :)

but its the way the o2 woman said she couldnt continue due to the phone line itself not being able to have broadband, surely all phone line problems are bt related?

You need to get Zen to get BT to deal with it - it might be a BT issue, but not with the part of BT you can talk to on the phone.
It's BT Wholesale that need a poke with a stick, and for (good) reason they will only speak to their customer: your ISP.
