Block pop-unders with Firefox?

Install this

When firefox restarts, pick the 'easylist' subscription, this is a list that gets updated pretty often to stay on top of new ads etc

it's more of an advert blocker, I would never browse the internet without it now, everything looks so ugly without it


noscript is good too, but requires more rules to be setup for it, it's worth getting mind


try adblock plus first, then install noscript afterwards too see what each of them does. I use both
 
Been using Adblock Plus for as long as I can remember, but it doesn't stop popunders (which are activated when you click anywhere on the page).

I hate noscript as I can't stand manually enabling every site I visit.
 
Not the ideal solution as it isn't free [it's about a tenner] but Admuncher is the best all round ad/popup blocker there is. Best app I ever bought anyway....

noscript doesn't take THAT long to configure, especially if you tend to stick to the same sites

once you've set it up as you like, you can export the rules for future installations
