Arrrrrgh moneysupermarket.com popups

I was doing some searches on there and sheer number of popups made me think I was missing something on the searches so I clicked the bar and allowed popups. Wrong answer. Would you like this credit card? How about a loan? What about a mortgage? Poke you in the eye?

I followed this guide which said to go to Tools - Options - Content but under the exceptions button moneysupermarket.com is not in there. How do I block it again? In fact there are no 'allows' in the list at all. I have restarted Firefox as well.

I just added it and it shows up in the exception list for popups, are you sure you're looking there and not blocked images?

NoScript extension should stop it showing however.

Definitely looking in the right place, there are no 'allowed' sites in that list

  1. Close Firefox.
  2. If you have the browser set as default, right click the browser icon and select 'Mozilla Firefox Options'.
  3. If not, restart the browser and select menu item: Tools -> Options
  4. Select tab: Content
  5. Click topmost 'Exceptions' button.
  6. Find the site in the list and remove it. As the popup may have actually come from another site you may want to remove all sites.
  7. Click Close, then OK.
  8. If the browser is open, close and restart it.
Works with FF2 and FF3. I think this is what you've done already but best make sure. :)
