Blocking Limewire

Hey guys, anyone know how to block limewire? Not sure how to do it through my router CP.

I'm using WRT54GL with Tomatoe firmware 1.17.

You could find out the ports it uses and block them

How exactly do you block ports tho? All i can find out is how to open them lol

Firewall rules, but it isn't particularly effective - change the port and you get around the rule.
You might be able to set up Layer 7 packet inspection, so the router knows it's from Limewire regardless of port. Depends whether Tomato supports it.

I just block everything except 80 and 443 outbound on my network, my PC's ip is in the exclusion list for this rule. I did it in tomato using access restriction.
