blocking private numbers?

Is it possible ? Is there a mobilr phone / network that has a setting to block withheld numbers?

im getting a lot of crank phonecalls which i think are coming from a call centre. Got to heavy breathing status lol ( sad gits ).

Any options ? im not changing my number ... I've had it over 10 years.

Truecaller app is generally amazing at blocking spam. It then has a further option in the settings to 'block hidden numbers - any caller that shows their number as unknown'

My Samsung S7 has built in blocking support, think its via whitepages, also shows numbers thought to be spammers/scammers/cold callers before you answer them, its great.

Dont know if you can get is separately.

yesh ive got a samsung s6 .. didn't seem to have private block tho

edit..... i just doftware updated the phone . Anonymous call blocking available

You could also try Mr Number from the play store, it worked for my sister who was getting a similar problem with calls.

+1 for this, it's one of the first apps I put on my phones, and one of the first that people come back and thank you for telling them about.

I might be wrong but I don't think these number blockers actually block at all,they just don't notify you of a call.
