Got a pair of phantek 140mps in the front of my meshify C, and I'm finally getting around to trying to block off the gap between them, to stop air from just being dragged around in circles. What have people found works best? I'm thinking just some cardboard, but it's always seemed quite tricky to secure it in there. I don't fancy gluing anything. Blutack? Probably only need it to hold roughly in place until the front of the case is clicked back in place which should help hold it in place even further.

Thoughts? I guess I could unscrew the fans, then screw them in securing whatever it is I place between them, but I'd rather find a lazier solution :D.

I'm a little ghetto with my (very basic) mods, but I recently used some cereal box cardboard to channel airflow and used an insulated paperclip to secure it.

I've used tape many times. If you want to be fancy you could cut a pattern of fan mounting panel with only holes for fan, rattle-can it with matching color paint (lay cardboard flat or hang it as paint will soften it a little when wet, then stiffen it even more that it was to start with when dry). Then install it with fans holding it. If needed a few spots of water-soluble glue / glue stick to lock in place. Job done. If you are lazy like me, I've often used black electrical tape. ;)

Just cut the pattern out of cardboard, and it more or less stayed in place, I suspect once I clipped the front panel back in place, it wouldn't move.

I use gaffa tape. i used to to tape around fan edges and rads, tho not really bothered with haps between fans or gaps from fan shroud to cases
