also noticed that you haven't changed the permalink settings...change them, helps your seo out aswell. if you don't know how, give us a shout...
 
That's no worries, I just assumed it was a completely mystery and no one knew a fix. If there's no way to get full browser compatibility then I'll go back to the old style menu(left float). :)

Permalinks I dont understand, I've noticed the settings before but I dont understand which check box does which on Yoast.
 
nope, not on yoast, but on wordpress. basically permalinks changes how wordpress directs you to a page, currently your is something like www.mydomain.com/?p=123 or something. permalinks changes it to something like www.mydomain.com/contact/
so, google will index that page as contact as it bumps you up the rankings somewhat.
you'll find it in dashboard>settings>permalinks
I have mine set to day and name.
