Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right section or not but anyway. i'm off to Japan next year for a month and I want to do a blog for it! However I don't code and I don't have the time nor inclination to learn. What I need is a recommendation for a probably paid for service that I can easily add and remove pages, photos, videos etc. - most important thing is that it's easy to do.

I had a look in the stickies but it all looked like web hosting etc. Any recommendations?

Wordpress

Tumblr

Out of those three main ones I use and prefer Wordpress, really nice interface, good range of features.

-Google Blogger is very simple to use, but slightly basic and tacky.

-Wordpress is again simple to use, looks nice and polished.

-Tumblr the easiest of the three to use, but very basic and lacks a lot of the features of those other two. Good for sharing links, pictures and quick messages, but not so great at large posts.

My opinion anyway!

Also, bloggers prob quite easy to access if you're abroad. You can even link it to a mobile phone and send text/mms messages as posts.
 
OK sort of related...I've bought a domain name through vidahost, but I cant for the life of me work out how to manage it - i.e. point that domain to the blog url etc. I must be missing something, any clue?
