Hollywood actress Paris Hilton recently declared that she is a living example of the fact that blondes are not stupid.

Hilton went on to saying that in reality she is an intelligent career oriented woman and her slow on the uptake character in Simple Life was just a mere role.

“I’m very intelligent. I’m capable of doing everything put to me. I’ve two records, I’ve launched a perfume and I want my own hotel chain,” The ‘Sun’ quoted Hilton, as saying

Hilton, 27, also emphasized on the fact that men don’t just date her for her looks or money, but are actually fascinated with her over-all personality.

“I’m the living proof that blondes are not stupid,” she added.

So let's see,

She is too stupid to become famous through intelligence and/or talent so instead does so by pulling a sex tape publicity stunt to cut the queue so to speak....yeah Nothing blonde about it at all.

She was born into money, got a sex tape leaked and american companies started doing deals with her because she was the topic of conversation for a while.

Its as bad in the uk, look at Kate Moss, tons of negative publicity about her snorting habits yet after that happened she seems to be in more ads and getting more endorsements than ever before.

publicity stunt ? she was already hugely famous before that video. thats why it was such a big deal.

not to mention that she cleverley sold it by going public with it and marketing it instead of letting the guy who made it sell it to a paper/news

Uhm, instead of crying over a leaked porn tape, she capitalized on it and reaped what I believe are fairly large financial gains from it. Whether you like it or not, she does have a keen sense of business awareness. It should be added that Hilton also gets paid spectacularly well for doing 'nothing' - something she managed to almost exclusively by herself - not bad for a stupid blonde to be honest. I think somebody here is a little envious.

There are many many girls out there who inherit millions - why aren't they having their own talk shows? They simply don't have the know-how to put that money into something that will pay itself back and more.

Yes, she was born the daughter of a famous multi-gazillionaire. Combined with blone hair and reasonable-ish looks, this usually helps, whether your IQ is 50 or 150.

Because being the daughter of, as mentioned already a person with a stonking great load of money and clearly has been used on her as a child .(Who wouldn't, If I was rich I would)

But that's where it stops, money. If you have loads of money you can be butt ugly and still get famous, just look at some of them out there. If you have loads of money it's easier to make LOADS more.

Launched a perfume? Pretty sure she just put her name on it and agreed on the design, that's as far as i'm willing to say she was involved.

WANTS her own hotel chain, yes, so do I... but she's got the money and family experience and people behind her, it's easy. She spends money on people to manage but brands it off as her own.

This people != intelligent.

It's deviously clever.

People who work from the bottom and strike it rich, are smart.
That'd be like me getting rich having almost nothing right now
