Wondering is anyone is planning to go out to shoot the 'blood moon" this Friday and what would the best place to shoot it in London?

I might go and give it a go, trouble is the forecast looks pretty bad, so it might be a write off (heavy cloud, rain etc in the evening).

I bought a New Nikon D7100 DSLR a few years ago but i have been rather lazy and forgot the manual settings i used to use on my D80, I will check out some setting for taking photos of the moon later this afternoon. Though looking at the weather forecast it may be a lost cause.

Yeah I'm just coming back from London now, it's starting to cloud over, storms forecast for tonight so it could still be good, but I doubt we'll see the moon, I just checked a bunch of my fave spots all over the southwest to see if it's worth driving somewhere to get a shot - but there's heavy rain forecast all evening in all of the spots.

aperture wide open

ISO as low as it will go

Shutter speed adjustment to balance the exposure.

manual focus.

tripod.

big zoom.

umbrella....Snorkle.

haha I have the umbrella but no snorkel. They keep chatting about storms but I don't believe them
