So...
Somehow my lad has managed to buy £200 worth of zombie packs via my PayPal :/ he must be well kitted out for whatever game it is

I am guessing there is no way of me getting my money back?

Nope. An ex colleagues kid managed to work out the amazon TV pin and bought a load of peppa pig shows.

Take it on the chin, it's your lapse in security not theirs.

Totally agree and leason learned, I have managed to get half of it back because some of it less than 48 hours ago

You might be able to - one thing you can likely do is to write to some tabloid - this same story has appeared on social media a few times re: angry parent and a child who has gone crazy with in app purchases.

I do feel a bit for kids with games these days as sometimes I have to do a second take on some to check if I'm your buying with in game credits or real money. I've just set everything up so that I have to sign in or use pin to confirm purchase but if the kid knows your password / pin then I'm afraid its time to let them be in charge of your digital accounts

It might be worth contacting whichever Appstore the stuff was purchased from, you might get something back as goodwill like some digital credit or something.

My brother got £600 worth of purchases back from Google play when his 8 year old racked them up one morning so don't write it off without trying.
