Been awhile since we had a tower defence thread, this one is a bit cutesy but it's damn good.

After ploughing though Bloons 4 a few years ago, I was delighted to see that Bloons 5 has been released. It's a really good tower defence game, each tower (monkey) is unique and has 2 different of upgrade routes, there are loads of different tactics to go for... and the evil camo baloons are back :D

I've spent hours ploughing through this so thought I'd share the love. Enjoy!

FYI, you are much better off registering as it allows you to save your game and experience points.
 
been playing it for a while now and its really good fun. I've just got past the drag strip on hard difficulty with no lives lost which was a royal PITA (i didn't wimp out and use agents either). if you need advice for it i'll happily give you some :)
I also got to ~round 130 before getting bored on one of the easy levels

gemcraft is also fantastic, i've only played the first one and after getting ~2/3 across the map it got a bit samey. i'll have a go at the new one later

My standard tactic is whack a load of MOAB-killers right at the front and get some stealth detection on them... seems to be an unbeatable tactic at present. Then just sell them all and put a few sun gods down :D
 
Cant believe we are talking about tower defense and no one mentioned fieldrunners!

My recommendations (in no specific order)
Fieldrunners 1 & 2
Defense grid hd
Goal defense
Bloons
Plants vs Zombies
