Blown my CPU up so i need a new motherboard for socket 1150

Guys I blown my i7-2600k cpu up so am looking at upgrading to a i7-4770K cpu..

So am going need a new socket 1150 motherboard can anyone recommend which ones are best to go for


(Looking at paying somewhere between £125 to £225)
top price if there something special about it that worth paying the extra for

1.5v on air pushing for a decent Firestrike bench by the looks of it.

Yes seems like it...and the score wasn't even that good..

But I have a feeling that cpu was on it way out anyway due to having a lot of lockups in the last month or so..most likely because it been running at 4400mhz & 4600mhz for 2years day in day out..

Z87X-OC is very good, the Z87X-UD3H, G1 Sniper Z87, all very good boards

Yes am 100% certain......

By choosing the 4800mhz default overclock setting on my motherboard and running a single benchtest of firestrike

Also maybe look at the UD4H, it's in your price range with a few more features than the UD3H.
