My corsair AX760 blew last night. I kid you not pretty much 7 years to the day of installing it! Guess how long the warranty was? Lol

So now looking for a decent replacement. Still worth going with Corsair or are there good alternatives in 2021?

My EVGA G2 went just inside the 7 year warranty (at the start of the year) and given the ballache of dealing with warranty and needing a replacement asap, i grabbed a Super Flower Leadex and said stuff it regarding the warranty. Probably could have turned a good chunk of change selling the replacement, but honestly couldn't be doing with the hassle right now. Took a step down from 750W to 650W, and the quality of the G2 imho was better (not massively, but side by side the G2 is nicer), but the SF is easily servicing my needs (we have a SF Leadex in the lounge system to, and it's been rock solid).

I have just purchased a Corsair hx1000w, to replace my 13 year old corsair 850w. Which is still working, but I have had a few crashes only when gaming. But I Think my 6800xt could be pushing it to it's limit, and being quite old I don't want it blowing and stand the risk of taking out my system.

750W Seasonic Focus GX and Phanteks AMP are in stock.
Then white Corsair RMx for some more and RMi for another £10 more.
